Dang this was a fun find. We needed a restaurant for brunch that would be a good beer sponge. Husband had the toast (with avocado, salmon, jalapeños) and a chicken biscuit. I had the fried chicken on a biscuit with sausage gravy. Fried chicken is easy to screw up. There's was perfectly juicy and crisp on the outside. The toast was bright and refreshing. Their sausage gravy is legitimately the best I've had, and I lived in the south for nine years! Easy to overlook but worth a stop. Everything was good and service was friendly.

I hope my experience is not indicative of how the food is here. Let's start with the positive. The experience was fine and the menus was very simple and had good options. The ingredients are listed on the board which helps and all the options sounded fresh. Excited to eat we ordered and the cashier was very friendly and more than helpful. When the food came it was excellent and the portion was very generous. I had chicken and waffles and shared a chicken biscuit with my girl. We didn't even finish half of our food and took the rest to go. We left more than satisfied. Then I woke up at 5am puking my guts out. Two days later and I'm still not well. I'm not saying that the store is dirty or that this is a common thing. What I'm saying is I have list 5lbs since eating here and haven't had an appetite since.

Simple menu, good options, friendly service...beware ambition. I tried the chicken sandwich: fried chicken on a glazed donut with honey mustard and kimchi. Though this might sound like a food network star in the making, the flavors simply did not go well together, in my humble opinion. The chicken was good, the donut was okay but no Krispie Kramer and I won't claim to be an expert on kimchi. However, I will say my colleague had the muffaletta and was not disappointed. No ranting and raving but the focaccia bread was fantastic (she finished it without finishing its contents). Overall, a good experience would go back and try something new.just a little less unique

Chicken and waffles. I got them. My wife got them. I looked around and I think everybody in the place got them. Ross is a real chef doing food the way he likes it to be, and lots of people agree. What a cool vibe. Awesome food.

If I'm going to splurge on eating out this is my choice in Youngstown. They have an innovative menu for the area and have executed every dish I've had extremely well.
