Once the trial period ends, the data stored in QuickBooks cannot be accessed until the software is registered. One method of registering the software is to use an online form accessible through the QuickBooks Pro user interface.Open QuickBooks Pro and press "F2" to verify that your copy of the software isn't already registered. The word "Unregistered" appears next to your license number if you haven't yet registered the software. If you installed QuickBooks on a computer that previously had this version of QuickBooks installed, you won't need to register the software a second time.Click "Help" in the menu bar, select "Register QuickBooks, " and then click "Begin Registration." You are directed to the QuickBooks website from within the QuickBooks software.Enter your Intuit username and password, and then click "Sign In." If you are new to QuickBooks and don't have an Intuit profile, click "Sign Up" and fill in the form to create an account.Enter the business telephone number and zip code associated with your account to verify the registration, then click "Continue." If you have a new Intuit account, you'll fill out a longer form with information about your company. The message "Your registration is now complete" appears.Click "Start Using QuickBooks" to exit the browser window and return to the QuickBooks home screen.
